About Us 
Who is IIES?
IIES, International Institute of Education Standards, is a non-profit 501 (c)(6).  IIES is an independent accrediting and certifying  body to professional programs that require continuing education experiences in the area of Family Studies and Human Services. 

What does IIES do?
In addition to developing standards for programs and professional certifications we regulate that the standards are upheld.
IIES does the following: 
1. IIES provides continuing education approval to organizations and companies that meet our standards. 
2. We can assist state licensing boards and issue accreditation to National Associations who seek continuing education standards in fast growing areas such as on-line ceu's, homestudy ceu's as well as conferences.   
2. IIES recognizes organizations and companies who have a desire to offer continuing education to our accreditation programs, certificate and/or certification programs.

To increase the competency of staff and volunteers who work directly with the community so they can positively impact lives.     
 
IIES Mission:
1. Promote professional continuing education programs in the human service industries that impact families. 
2. Provide accreditation to organizations that participate in continuing education experiences  
3. Encourage career growth for professionals

How does IIES operate? 
IIES regulates that professional standards are met for accreditation and certification renewal. All IIES program affilates must abide by the specific program standards..  IIES also reviews your conference, on-line training or homestudy program standards to assure that IIES compliance is met.  Our continuing education standards are adopted from those used by state governed licensing boards to assure the highest level of competency.  

You can be assured that when an organization is accredited and approved by IIES, it is held to the highest level of continuing education standards in the field of Family Studies and Human Services.
